Behind Natalya’s neighbor’s house is a beautiful, thick patch of woodland. There, trees and leaves run as far as the eyes can see, broken only in visible sight by running water. Something about the pure beauty of this place–the stunningly raw and literally untouched beauty of woodland, even in the stark, bland winter wind–is awe-inspiring. I frankly can’t believe it has taken us this long to take outfit photos here! Natalya really outdid herself with this set of photos. I honestly had a hard time narrowing down the set–and trust me, that is a rarity. I am the queen of derp faces. I’m very happy with how these photos captured the starkness of the woods. I’m also happy that photos cannot convey temperature; otherwise, you would all have completely numb extremities and faces as dry as tree bark right now. :p

Wearing: Jason Kole wool coat from Macy’s, borrowed sweater from Natalya with a Forever 21 sweater layered beneath (so cold!), DKNY jeans from TJ Maxx, gifted Doc Martens, vintage ring, gifted earrings, Korres lip butter in Plum

Photos taken kindly by Natalya Jean.
